On April 18--thanks to your efforts--Scentsy was able to present the National Breast Cancer Foundation with our largest donation to date--over $600,000!

During a moving presentation at Scentsy headquarters yesterday we heard inspiring stories from those who helped make our Love, Life, Hope Charitable Cause Warmer a tool for raising awareness, spreading hope, and providing much-needed funds toward finding a cure for breast cancer.

Heidi and Orville have set a goal to raise $1 million toward the cause by 2013, and we're already more than halfway there. Now THAT is something to celebrate!

DIY - Design It Yourself

The easy-to-apply rub-on designs allow you to change the look of your warmer as often as you like. Scentsy Rub-On Transfer Instructions

Dress up your Scentsy warmer with rub-on transfers to create a look that’s as unique as you are! Change themes with the season, or to match your mood–it’s all up to you. Be creative!

To apply rub-ons to your Scentsy warmer:

1. Make sure your Scentsy warmer is clean and dry before you start.
2. Select and cut out the design you want to use, and position the rub-on in the desired area.
3. Hold the design down firmly and rub the design onto the warmer, working from the outer edges towards the center using the rounded end of the plastic Scentsy rub-on tool (not the flat edge).
4. Carefully remove the backing sheet, making sure the entire design has transferred.

Oops! If you make a mistake, you can remove a rub-on from your Scentsy warmer. Use only the flat edge of the plastic Scentsy rub-on tool to remove your mistakes. Other tools may damage the surface of the warmer.

What to do if you spill Scentsy Candle Wax on your carpet/ clothing??

 First of all....relax. Believe me, you will get the wax out.

Using your hands, a plastic knife, a comb or brushes, try to pick up as much of the excess Scentsy candle wax as possible.

Set your iron to the lowest possible setting because Scentsy candle wax melts at such a low tempature.

Place three or four paper towels or a folded washcloth over the candle wax. You want to make sure these are white paper towels, as the dyes may bleed onto the fabric or carpet when heated by the iron.

Gently iron the paper towels that are covering the Scentsy candle wax. Make sure to keep the iron in motion so the carpet or paper towels do not burn. Also be sure not to directly touch the fabric or carpet with the iron. If you are worried about burning the carpet or fabric, you can set your iron on high, then hover it less than an inch away and let the steam heat the paper towels. I find the steam really helps to bring up the wax.

The wax will begin to liquify and be absorbed by the paper towels. Keep using fresh paper towels as they become saturated by the candle wax, or refold the washcloth so a clean side is available.

If the candle wax that left the stain was colored, pour a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth and softly daub the spot.

If the above steps still leave some wax behind, there are some commercial candle wax removers on the market. Caution is recommended, as certain dyes in the fabric or carpet might fade. Verify with the manufacturer if in question.

Scentsy Buddies!!!!

LENNY THE LAMB

Lenny is a great listener. Soft and sensitive, just give him a tight squeeze and he’ll be there for you no matter what. All the buddies go straight to Lenny whenever they have a problem. Why? Because he gives great advice! And there’s nothing Lenny likes more than to help his friends—including you.
Being covered in soft wool is usually great—Lenny stays warm, for sure! But sometimes all that fuzz can get a bit itchy, and often irritates Ollie’s allergies! Be sure to keep his wool clean and trim—he doesn’t want to miss hanging out with his friends!  Lenny is great at keeping all of his buddies together. He never lets silly squabbles come between friends. And he knows he can always count on Penny the Pig for a big dose of kindness and respect. Lenny loves all of the Scentsy fragrances, but Vanilla Cream is his favorite.

MOLLIE THE MONKEY

Whether she’s climbing trees or swinging from vine to vine, Mollie loves to exercise. Take her with you as you play and explore. She’s always up for an adventure!
Mollie loves encouraging her friends—she always yells the loudest when the Buddies play ball. She is very kind and very clever, too—you’ll definitely want this Buddy on your team.  Mollie doesn’t like it when you pull her tail, but she loves a good scratch behind her ears! Treat Mollie with care and she’ll never let you down—a banana every now and then wouldn’t hurt, either!  When Mollie wants to go for a swing through the forest trees or a swim in the rumbling river, she calls Ollie the Elephant, her very best friend. Luckily, Ollie just happens to love adventure, too! Mollie loves all of the Scentsy fragrances, but Havana Cabana is her favorite!

OLLIE THE ELEPHANT

Tell Ollie your secrets—he’s got a great memory! Elephants never forget, and their big, floppy ears make it easy for them to listen very closely. You’ll never have to tell Ollie anything twice! Ollie loves living in the forest with the rest of the Buddies, but it’s so mushy and green, it affects his allergies. You don’t want to be near Ollie’s trunk when he lets out a loud ACHOOO! The forest is full of trees and stones, and it’s easy to trip over them with such big feet! He counts on Mollie the Monkey, his very best friend, to help him out. Ollie loves all of the Scentsy fragrances, but Camu Camu is his favorite.

PENNY THE PIG

Neat and tidy, Penny never has a hair out of place—even her tail is a perfect curlicue! Find a special place for Penny to call home and she’ll clean it up in no time.  Penny loves to laugh, but can be a bit self-conscious. She can’t help but blush when she lets out a snort! Tell Penny all your jokes, but be sure to laugh along with her—it might even help to throw in an oink now and then!  Friendship is very important to Penny—after all, it takes a whole team to clean up the forest! She knows she can always count on her best friend Lenny the Lamb to help her in a pinch. Together, they put fallen leaves back in the trees and keep the river in its bed.

RIBBERT THE FROG

Ribbert loves to dance! He kicks, flips, and shakes from pond to pond, hip-hopping to the beat of his favorite songs. From Classical to Rock ‘n’ Roll, he loves all kinds of music—but he hates to dance alone!
