Scentsy Rub-On Transfer Instructions

Dress up your Scentsy warmer with rub-on transfers to create a look that’s as unique as you are! Change themes with the season, or to match your mood–it’s all up to you. Be creative!

To apply rub-ons to your Scentsy warmer:

1. Make sure your Scentsy warmer is clean and dry before you start.
2. Select and cut out the design you want to use, and position the rub-on in the desired area.
3. Hold the design down firmly and rub the design onto the warmer, working from the outer edges towards the center using the rounded end of the plastic Scentsy rub-on tool (not the flat edge).
4. Carefully remove the backing sheet, making sure the entire design has transferred.

Oops! If you make a mistake, you can remove a rub-on from your Scentsy warmer. Use only the flat edge of the plastic Scentsy rub-on tool to remove your mistakes. Other tools may damage the surface of the warmer.

What to do if you spill Scentsy Candle Wax on your carpet/ clothing??

 First of all....relax. Believe me, you will get the wax out.

Using your hands, a plastic knife, a comb or brushes, try to pick up as much of the excess Scentsy candle wax as possible.

Set your iron to the lowest possible setting because Scentsy candle wax melts at such a low tempature.

Place three or four paper towels or a folded washcloth over the candle wax. You want to make sure these are white paper towels, as the dyes may bleed onto the fabric or carpet when heated by the iron.

Gently iron the paper towels that are covering the Scentsy candle wax. Make sure to keep the iron in motion so the carpet or paper towels do not burn. Also be sure not to directly touch the fabric or carpet with the iron. If you are worried about burning the carpet or fabric, you can set your iron on high, then hover it less than an inch away and let the steam heat the paper towels. I find the steam really helps to bring up the wax.

The wax will begin to liquify and be absorbed by the paper towels. Keep using fresh paper towels as they become saturated by the candle wax, or refold the washcloth so a clean side is available.

If the candle wax that left the stain was colored, pour a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth and softly daub the spot.

If the above steps still leave some wax behind, there are some commercial candle wax removers on the market. Caution is recommended, as certain dyes in the fabric or carpet might fade. Verify with the manufacturer if in question.

Scentsy Buddies!!!!

LENNY THE LAMB

Lenny is a great listener. Soft and sensitive, just give him a tight squeeze and he’ll be there for you no matter what. All the buddies go straight to Lenny whenever they have a problem. Why? Because he gives great advice! And there’s nothing Lenny likes more than to help his friends—including you.
Being covered in soft wool is usually great—Lenny stays warm, for sure! But sometimes all that fuzz can get a bit itchy, and often irritates Ollie’s allergies! Be sure to keep his wool clean and trim—he doesn’t want to miss hanging out with his friends!  Lenny is great at keeping all of his buddies together. He never lets silly squabbles come between friends. And he knows he can always count on Penny the Pig for a big dose of kindness and respect. MOLLIE THE MONKEY

Scentsy – The Man-Friendly Direct Sales Company

It used to be that we typically thought of salesmen as just that – men. Most of the sales personnel for encyclopedias, vacuum cleaners, carpeting, insurance, autos, car parts and other widgets were (and possibly still are) men.

Yet if you consider Direct Sales – home party plans and the like, a majority of those sales representatives are women. Sure, many direct sales companies have some male representatives and some are quite successful; but they’re still a minority. Direct sales is still viewed typically as a woman’s gig.

I can say with most certainty that the men who are currently successful with Scentsy were able to see past the gender stigma and see the bigger picture and the awesome potential. If direct sales companies are good investments for Warren Buffett and Donald Trump, it holds a great feature for any man.

Scentsy Wickless Candles Company is a prime example of a direct sales company for men. Here are three reasons why Scentsy is the perfect business opportunity for men, guys, dudes and fellas. Be fire safe - Smoke Alarm

According to Home Safety Council research indicates that 97 percent of homes have at least one smoke alarm. But one smoke alarm may not be enough and should be on every level of your home and many recommend putting a smoke alarm in every room.

According to the Dept. of Homeland Security, having a working smoke alarm reduces one’s chances of dying in a fire by nearly half. Nearly one third of the residential fires and two-fifths of residential fatalities occur in homes with no smoke alarms.

Below are some guidelines from the Dept. of Homeland Security –

1. Place a smoke alarm on every level of your home and outside bedrooms. If you keep your bedroom doors closed, place a
smoke alarm in each bedroom.
2. Check smoke alarms monthly by pushing the test button. If you cannot reach the button easily, use a broom handle.
3. Change the batteries in your alarms at least once a year – perhaps
when you change your clocks for Daylight Savings Time.
4. Teach children what the smoke alarm sounds like and what to do
– leave the building immediately by crawling low under the smoke
– when they hear it sound.
5. If cooking smoke sets off the alarm, do not disable it. Turn on the
range fan, open a window, or wave a towel near the alarm.
6. Do not remove the batteries to put in other appliances such as personal
stereos or games.
7. Smoke alarms wear out over time. Replace yours if it is 10 years
old or more.
8. Keep smoke alarms clean. Dust and debris can interfere with their
operation. Vacuum over and around your smoke alarm regularly.
9. Consider installing a 10-year lithium battery-powered smoke alarm,
which is sealed so it cannot be tampered with or opened.
10. Hard-wired smoke alarms with battery back-ups need to be tested
monthly and batteries replaced yearly.

How I got into Scentsy?

I received a Scentsy catalog in the mail from a friend out of state.  I looked at it and fell in love with how the warmers looked and sooo many unique names for the candle bars.  Then I went online to learn more about these stuffs and OMG I realized that the warmers are electrical!!! I got super thrilled knowing that I could actually have candles in my home without worrying about my children going near the flame and burn the house down!
